Woody Wayfarer 819 Wapiti is in pristine condition 1963

60yr old Wapiti (a South African deer) is in wonderful/museum condition with stunning woodwork varnished topsides and interior with a Baltic blue hull.
She was bought from plans by her previous owners and cherished and garaged all her life by them and now us. Only really used during short holidays and is the perfect young family boat or a couples cruiser.
Wapiti is in original condition with 1963 sails, a small jib and main in immaculate condition, wooden boom, aluminium mast, original rudder and tiller. We have a larger genoa that is not original with a rolling furler. A detachable outboard bracket has been fitted.
She comes with a great road and launching trolley set up with useful jokey wheel and trident cover.
Wapiti is a very safe and usable boat with lots of storage space in her large buoyancy compartments. Our happiest family moments have been sailing her to west coast beaches and camping the night.
Following every use Wapiti has always been cleaned, hoovered and tucked away back in her dry house.

Standard fitting with minimal cleats, not fitted for racing but has done well in basic competition. All fixings are A1 solid. All wood solid. Launching and road trolley A1. Road wheels greased and never in the water. Just the boat for cu towing and cruising.
