NOR: NoR wayfarer NOTICE OF RACE 2017
Haversham Sailing Club are proud to host the 2017 UKWA Wayfarer Inland Championships together with the Wayfarer Junior Championships and Round Two of the UKWA Travellers Series on the weekend of 27th & 28th of May 2017.
Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd & 3rd places for both the Inland Championships, Junior Championships and Haversham’s own Fleet Championships, Junior and Senior (numbers depending).
The club will be open from Friday evening for early arrivals with the free camping facilities available from then until Monday (Bank Holiday) for all competitors (and families of course).
Those who have not visited Haversham before, we are a friendly club that offers inland sailing on our small but perfectly formed inland lake just to the North of Milton Keynes.
Bar will be open from Friday evening onwards with food available at breakfast and lunchtimes with a Meal and social gathering on the Saturday evening with Haversham’s usual “Barrel & Bottle” being available.
Young or old, new to sailing of experienced, come and join us for the weekend and experience the friendly welcome at Haversham and by the Wayfarer Fleet.
