t060Raymarine ‘TackTick’ T060 Micro Compass – Permitted, the Micro Compass is already being used throughout the fleet and has been specifically discussed with regard to the latest rule changes.

Raymarine ‘TackTick’ T070 Race MasterPermitted provided it is not (wireless) connected to other devices such as a GPS. If it is not connected, it is functionally similar to the Micro Compass, but more complicated to operate. It meets the criterion: “time keeping, compass heading and changes thereof“. However, if it is connected it can do things like Distance to Line, VMG, SOG, Depth, Wind Heading, Navigation; all GPS-driven computing functions we wish to ban.

Raymarine ‘TackTick’ T075 Racemaster System and Triducer – Same as T070

Velocitek Speed Puck – Not allowed, it is a GPS-based calculator that calculates SOG. It does not solely do “time-keeping, compass heading and changes thereof“.

Silva ADC Wind – Compass, Weather Station and Race Timer – Technically its use is not allowed during a race. It does not solely do “time-keeping, compass heading and changes thereof“.
