Hello Wayfarer sailors across the globe!
On behalf of the Wayfarer Worlds organizing committee, I am pleased to invite you all to the 15th running of the Wayfarer International Championship to be held at Mississauga Sailing Club in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada in August 2013. The Notice of Race is now officially issued and can be viewed at http://www.wayfarer-international.org/WIC/past.Worlds/2013/13Worlds_info_index.html. Registration is now OPEN and we encourage those to enter early. In fact, we will be giving away special gifts for the first 10 who register, so warm up that credit card!
For those of you who plan to enter it is requested that you send digital pictures of yourself and your crew, along with any sailing credentials (or other questionable and unverifiable content) to Al Schonborn at uncle-al3854@cogeco.ca who will be posting the information on the Canadian Wayfarer Association’s website as they come in.
A lot of volunteer work has been, and will continue to be done behind the scenes to make this a fantastic and memorable event for all. We hope you chose to participate and join in on the competition and festivities.
