InactiveLast time the worlds were in Denmark we needed to obtain an SSR registration – can someone remind me how we go about this . I believe it can be done on-line . Thanks

InactiveActually, I went to the previous Denmark Worlds (in Arhus) without an SSR and I seem to recall that no others had one either unless they’d kept it from the one before that!
I think it’s no longer necessary.

Participantthere is some advice on the RYA site that covers this;
http://www.rya.org.uk/Activities/PowerboatRacing/competitorsinfo/travelinsuranceadviceforforeignevents.htmIf you had one from the previous Worlds it should still be valid – as I recall they last 5 years
I have always had an SSR when travelling abroad (in the EC) – but never been asked for it. But for what it costs – £25, and the ease in applying…. anyway here’s the link to apply online.
