Farers
We re considering going for an aeroluffspar system. Ralph has two on the brew – one is pure carbon fibre and the other is part carbon fibre, part some other stuff. The pure CF one is £40 more. Ralph says the pure CF has maximum torsional strength (main thing you need in a luff spar) but my friend Boris feels his part-carbon one is pretty darn strong. Also the part-carbon one bends more which has practical advantages.
Does any ‘farer out there have an opinion on whether it is worth the extra money?
