where to this year?

Starting to think about plans for 2010 sailing and holidays.

Thinking about north Kent (Medway, Sheerness or Whitstable?); all of which would be convenient for our parents, and therefore cheap acommodation and possibly some child-free sailing.

Any recommendations/experience? My lasting memory of the Swale is mud – lots of it!

I’d love to sail out to see the Red Sands forts (without children, of course), but that may be a bit ambitious?
