The Westerns are being held in Poole Harbour and hosted by Parkstone Yacht Club on 26/27 of June. Three Olympice course races have been requested by the association to ready us for the Worlds less than three weeks later. We will be sailing in the top triangle so no ferries to worry about! This will be the last opportunity to pit yourselves against the top sailors prior to Weymouth so please come and join us. NOR and other details can be found on the PYC website: http://www.parkstoneyachtclub.com/pagewayfarerwesterns.html or on the Parkstone Wayfarers site: http://www.parkstonewayfarers.org.uk/pyc-main.shtml

Bacon butties will be available in the dinghy park in the mornings as will the traditional tea and cakes as you come off the water each day.

The Parkstone speciality of complimentary home made-cakes and tea on coming ashore is being added to this year – bacon butties before going afloat – complimetary too, thanks to the generosity of our expanding Wayfarer fleet! Don’t miss the Saturday evening hot buffet (7:00pm), jazz night and of course bar. Oh and by the way, there is a bit of sailing going on too! Olympic style and away from the ferry lanes!

NOR and other details can be found on the PYC website: http://www.parkstoneyachtclub.com/pagew … terns.html or on the Parkstone Wayfarers site: http://www.parkstonewayfarers.org.uk/pyc-main.shtml

The course marks will be the large pillar buoys that Parkstone usually use for bay races, so there will be no difficulty in finding the marks! But I am confident that we , I’s cream, will find some other way of messing up!!
