Greetings to all from Vancouver, BC, Canada
I recently acquired Wayfarer #133, built by Smallcraft in 1959.
In need of major restoration and rebuilding. Has been dry stored for 21 years and at some time was sheathed with fibreglass and polyester resin. There is no apparent rot in any frames or chines. Plan to totally strip decks, replace two bottom panels (maybe all the hull panels) and transom and rebuild centreboard casing. Boat came with original wooden mast and boom, and sails inc. spinnaker.
Believed to be the oldest Wayfarer in Canada!
I last Sailed a Wayfarer in the Helford River in 1981! but am looking forward to completing this project some time next year!

    Hi Tim

    Welcome to the Forum.
Looks like you have your work cut out for some time.
I hope the project is successful and we see you on the water ……….somewhere.
I took the easy route and have a GRP Wayfarer.
