I went to use my trailer yesterday and discovered the tyre was virtually off the rim.

My questions is, do trailer tyres have an innertube or are they tubeless?

I can’t tell if mine did or not because it’s virtually hanging off the rim

Both are possible and if its off the rim you will see it /or not round the side.
I have had an inner tube put in so as to not have the full expense but if your tyre is old and has signs of falling apart, replace the lot!

You can tellby inspecting the valve. A tube one just pokes through the rim (and can be easily pushed back in) a tubeless one has a formed groove to seal it agaist the rim.
