Hi, I’ve picked up a second hand Suzuki DT2.2 but isn’t starting although it did when I picked it up… possibly due to my fiddling!
Spark plug looks fine.
Is the spark plug meant to screw right in so that the washer is flush? Mine is very tight and I cannot screw all the way in… Perhaps thread is shot?

I have a Suzuki DT2 2-stroke. I tried to take some pics of the plug on mine but they didn’t come out too well.

PS – Is the 2.2 a four stroke?13/09/2009 at 9:04 pm #8560Saorsa10645Member
Thanks Keith…. difficult to see conclusively although it does look tighter in yours.
If you stick your finger in can you feel any gap between spark plug washer and engine?
(Interestingly mine must be at least slightly different since the part where the spark plug screws into is black… I think mine is approx. 2003 model)
