    Hi all,

Been trying to fit a cover for an earlier model to our Mark 4. It sits nicely over the boom, and the lower edge is low enough to roll the snap fasteners under the gunwale to attach there. I had bought some self tapping snap fasteners to go on the reverse of the for them to clip to, but accessing the space between the hull and the gunwale return to drill holes is tricky.

I then came across SNAD fasteners which have a self-adhesive base. Has anyone any experience of these? I am hoping they would adhere well enough to be used to secure the cover for the occasional overnight foray.

Here is a link to the YKK site: https://www.ykkfastening.com/products/search/detail.html?pdid1=SNAD(R)

Any thoughts or experience would be great.

    James
