I am looking a buying a new alloy (or simmilar) rudder stock after cracking the fittings and splitting the sides at the weekend.
There are several different types of stock out there, wishbone style-carbonfibre-normal alloy style.
Are there any rules indicating if any are not allowed?
any thoughts would be appreciated22/05/2007 at 3:32 pm #5280FantasiaMember
The class rules can be found on this website under the Racing section. The relevant rule for rudder stocks is:
18A. RUDDER STOCK
Material shall be wood or metal.
Wooden stocks shall comply with the official drawings and specifications. Metal stocks shall conform to the intention of the Class
Rules (Rule 1.1) and shall be of a design approved by the local NCA.
I should contact Ian Porter for best advice on metal stocks.
