Hi guys,
So I need to install a pair of rowlock plates onto my Mk1 Wayfarer. I am a little concerned that if they are not flush with the grp, people sitting on the side deck could find it uncomfortable/rip clothing. Has anyone found a solution to this, and could anyone recommend a set?
Cheers!
Tim
My initial thought, rather than fancy coated brass or galvanised ones, was a plastic set. They seem very robust, and I think I could soon blend them in by keying the top of the plates, and painting them the same colour as the top decks. They look smooth, and both the screw/bolt holes and the main hole for the rowlocks are countersunk. What do you guys reckon?
