Having finished the first race on Saturday at Bough Beech we sailed ashore to be met with a Pint of beer and a glass of wine….Wow I thought, What service! I strode towards the gentleman only for him to pass me by and go to the next boat in! I was stunned to say the least, Bill stepped out of his boat waded ashore and grasped the glass and gulped away…Well I thought how was this to be? In one swift answer Alan Chaplin said….This is what you get when you are a member of Shoreham!
