    Position of goose neck
I have just ordered a new goose neck ( the old square spigot style ) and I was wondering if someone could just reiterate the exact position in comparison to the black band and the black band on the mast … for example does the bottom to the goose neck touch the top of the band or the top touch the bottom ? this would be of great help , Thanks

The top edge of the boom must not be lower than the top edge of the band when on the gooseneck.
Do make sure the bands are all in the correct places on the mast.

Rules and measurments on the class website.

Ok thank you … so the tack of the sail should be on the top edge of the band ?

The sail is set in the boom groove but is not what is measured.
Its the top edge of the boom that must not be below the band.
