MemberThe plate on the C.B casing has worn, although the sail No. 2761 and boat No. are still visible. I would like to replace this if possible and wonder where I can obtain this

MemberThis would be something that the copyright holder would supply. Proctor Designs in the past, but now Hartley Laminates. Suggest you give Hartley’s a call to find out. Let us know how you get on.

InactiveI have exactly the same problem and by coincidence I received a replacement plate in the post this morning from Hartley Laminates.
But – what you get bears no resemblance to what is on the boat already. It is substantially wider, totally different design (silver metallic), includes Hartley Laminates name and contact details and a box for the year (which has been stamped ’09).

ParticipantI think that the Proctor family must have some of the old type around that could be used for the older type boats for authenticity, shame not to keep the plates the same, especially as the new Hartley plate is nothing like the old one.
Maybe the class could get hold of them or some more ???C P 🙂
