Ask around the Selden Agents and see but it is a rumour I also have heard!!

This has always been the case. The only mast allowed on a Wayfarer is the Proctor E-type mast. Though the name is still in use, ‘Proctor masts’ does not exist as a company anymore. It has been acquired years ago by the Swedish company ‘Seldén masts’ who is now the sole manufacturer of our Wayfarer masts.

The Masts are only made by Seldon, the rumour is whether you can only buy a mast at one outlet or Seldon Agent!

Ask your local Seldon Agent and find out!
