Hi All, great to see that the NOR and entry forms for the national Championships are now up on the DL regatta web site. for those wondering why our entry fee is different than other classes it is because this is a National championships and therefore will have greater overheads and expenses. On top of the regatta organisation and trophies there wil be a lot of UKWA class effort that will go into making the event a sucess and additional expense will be incured to provide additonal National Championship logistics such as trophies. The additional portion of the entry fee will revert directly back to the UKWA to help defray additional costs we incur. We are also actively seeking sponsorship to help in this regard so if you are anyone you know would like to support the event please let me or Mike Mc kechnie know as we would very much appreciate it.
Looking forward to sharing the fun and fantastic sailing arena of Dublin Bay with you in July. Monica08/03/2011 at 1:14 pm #9893Trevor FisherMember
So far there are 18 entries for the UK and Irish National in Dun Laoghaire – that is by far the biggest fleet at the moment, and well over half are from outside Ireland…………….looking good
