Just arrived yesterday evening (the long drive from Calais).
Nice Sailing Club, nice people.
Looks like plenty of boat and sail checks going on.
Around 40 entries. New boats and IanP have gone home.
Practice race today.05/08/2007 at 7:24 am #5647beefeaterMember

Thanks for keeping us informed in photos of the goings on at the Worlds. Great job. Is anyone writing a short report each day? That would be good and could be used as the basis of a Y&Y/Dinghy mag. (and local equivalents) report at the end of the event.

Its good to see the report on Yachts and Yachting for all to see: http://www.yachtsandyachting.com/news/?article=137810
Front page of Wayfarer website is a more logical place to look for the report;

But!!! When can I buy a new Wayfarer?
I would want to buy a WAYFARER (as shown by the class association at the dinghy exhibition!), not a piece of plastic that looks like the other boats but isn’t really the same….07/08/2007 at 3:59 pm #5687

Q – Sounds like a light wind shocker……..I thought all those windmills out there meant it was windy – it was in 1989!07/08/2007 at 4:18 pm #5689FantasiaMember
Looks like the Barkers in all the eights are doing really well in the light stuff. It must be difficult and frustrating for the others though! Thanks for sending the results, it is great for us who could not make it this year frustratingly.08/08/2007 at 4:36 am #569208/08/2007 at 11:49 am #5697
