HELP … WAYFARER MAST

Hello,

A good friend of mine has recently purchased a MK1a Wayfarer, on closer inspection he has found that the mast has been welded together at deck level. Obviously he is concerned that the weld may fail and is now, sadly not able to sail his boat.

As his budget is quite limited, can anybody help with a used mast. It doesn’t really matter what condition it is in (within reason), a slight bend would not be a problem as long as it could be used for cruising.

If you are able to help please get in touch, as it would be great to get Cameron’s boat back on the water.
