Hello all! Sandy Goodall here. I’m a new member (Canadian) spending my summers living in Annecy, France (winters in Baja, Mexico). I’m currently shopping for a used Wayfarer, and hoping to connect with other Wayfarer sailors here in France.14/07/2019 at 10:38 pm #29663john1162Participant
The best contact for your needs is our international rep Ralph Roberts email@example.com who has links to people in France and all over the world. He is also the man to go to for information on exporting boats. I know he i a very busy man but he will get back to you if you send him an email.

Did you found your Wayfarer to sail on Annecy lake?
We are in France too, and I already identified some french owners I’m in touch with.

Hello Jérôme! Yes, I found Wayfarer 6778, a woodie from 1979, in Theillac, in Brittany. We are now sailing it out of the Club Nautique in Saint Jorioz, 12 km south of Annecy, on the west side of the lake. Where are you located? Salut! Sandy19/07/2021 at 11:22 am #34645Jerome FR – W447Participant
What good news that you have found a W.!
It is great!
All year long, we are in the west of Paris with the Wayfarer.
Until the end of this summer, we moved the W. in Brittany to La Baie de Morlaix (such a beautiful place for sailing).
Our introduction is there: http://wayfarer.org.uk/forum/topic/french-newcomer-with-a-lovely-w/
Maybe one day we can arrange a sailing day on Annecy Lake?
Let’s stay in touch!
