Apologies for the forum being off-line for the last couple of weeks.
There were a number of technical issues with the previous hosting company that have forced us to move the whole Wayfarer.org.uk site including the forum.
The good news is that we now have much better control over the configuration of the forum.
The forum has been restored from a database backup, Unfortunately the last good backup was in mid January, so if you posted anything after then it has been lost.

If you have not been over to the new Wayfarer web site then please give it a look.

A big well done for getting the web site and forum back on line. There is a huge potential for the site & forum to get well used by all existing and potential new members.
Whilst the website has been off line I have enjoyed the regularly updated and very comprehensive Canadian Wayfarer web site & Institute of Technology, I can thoroughly recommend this site for lots of technical info and general wayfarer chat. However the link on the new UK site needs to be changed as the CWA site is now at
I look forward to the UK website developing over these dark winter evenings.

As a new user, I thought it was me!
Glad it is up and running again. I shall visit often, since I am trying very hard to make contact with UKWA members. I am fairly new to sea sailing and love it to bits.
I sail naomi at Dorchester on Thames Nr Abingdon, but love to take very opportunity to take her to the coast. We often visit Poole Harbour and join in with Lymington cruisies.
If you get a spare moment, please drop me a reply. Perhaps we shall meet at the dinghy show, I intend to be there on saturday and have a few contact cards to give to people I meet
