    I have just made some new floorboards for my 1982 Porter woody. Before painting them I thought that I should weigh them. New boards = 15kg, old boards = 11kg. I thave herefore added 4kg to the weight of my boat which was not far above the minimum weight. The reason is that I bought good quality marine ply, rather than more lightweight WBP stuff. The lesson learnt is to check the density of plywood before buying it. I now feel rather foolish and slightly poorer.

    Sell them and make some more. If I know you they will be very well made and be worth the money!
