Does anyone have, or know where to find patterns for floorboards for a Mark one?

I have lots of marine ply and a good jigsaw, but no patterns, paper patterns or old discarded boards would be equally good.

    Hi Ian,

You could probably make cardboard templates from these photos, with a bit of tinkering.

Your boat will probably be different in details such as cutouts for knees, specifics of centreboard case, turnbuckles to hold the boards down etc.

Our boards are about 10mm thick (probably ?”) and have hardwood stiffening strips glued and screwed to the back, located to avoid floor bearers and hull. The self-bailer cutouts are reinforced with an extra layer of plywood extending approximately 20 – 30 mm from the edges of each hole (again glued/screwed).

The boards are epoxied, with special attention to the edges. Painted top & edges only) with International Interdeck. There’s an interesting article on deck paints here.
