Hi – just back from the first cruise of 07, two days in Liverpool Bay.
Started from Thurstaston on the Dee estuary, out to Rhos-on Sea, (yes the shelter behind the breakwater does dry out at HW+3) back to Rhyl harbour for the night.
Next day the usual ‘Wild Road’ rollercoaster as we were swept back into the Dee by the spring tide into the teeth of a SE 4-5. 46 Nm of sheer joy! 😆
Look forward to hearing about other early cruises on the forum to wet the appetite for the year.

Doesn’t quite qualify as a cruise, but Notts County Girls Wayfarer weekend was held at Brancaster Staithe over the weekend of 12th – 13th January. Some ‘interesting’ day sailing in two reef conditions on the Saturday.
