MemberDoes anyone know where they would be (online preferable) a drawing of the setup of a cascade mussle box?
As our one will soon need to be replaced.

When I get home this weekend, I’ll take some pictures of mine and hopefully post them!11/08/2006 at 10:37 pm #4676RayS
Member… you mean you want to replace a harken type muscle box with a cascade type halyard tensioner?

Memberwe have a cascade system at the moment but it seems a bit of a tangle (it seems to work some how) so I don’t know if it is set up to a reasonibly sensible way.

InactiveI’d be very interested in an photos of such a tensioning system.
I’m looking to replace my Highfield with either a muscle box OR even a home made pully system based on what the GP-14 guys at my local sailing club have rigged on their boats.
The issue I have with the muscle box is where to locate it. On the floor next to the CB case or somewhere on the CB case itself.
Both methods cost up at pretty much the same but some pics of similar setups would help a great deal.
Thanks in advance.
