I am Vincent, another Frenchy, native of La Rochelle, living near Paris and spending my vacations in the region of Royan. I have sailing experience since I was little, spending all my vacations as a kid on a half tonner, my days off school on an Optimist. Being without a boat for seven years, and wanting to start introducing my three year old daughter to sailing in a safe way, I searched long and hard and fell in love with the Wayfarer. I just bought W6778 a 1979 woody which is in perfect condition and I can’t wait to sail it.
I want to thank everyone for the tons of useful information shared on this site and I am happy to be a new member of the association.

I’m happy for you and your daughter.
You will have some lovely moments aboard.It is also a pleasure to know that boat will stay in France.
Previously in the Alps’ lakes, it will be back at sea soon.
We are now ten identified Wayfarers in France.
I hope when can sail together.
