A hull with fittings weighs around 165Kg I believe. Add on another 20kg(?) for the mast. A combi trailer weighs around 175kg (Bramber). So around 350kg. Don’t forget to allow for any other equipment you might carry too.
I’ve towed mine with a very old Suzuki SJ410. That was a 998cc engine but managed fine. I then upgraded to a short wheel base 1.6 Vitara. Better. My 1.8 picasso struggles a bit on hills with it. The four wheel drive does allow access to some slpways that would be awkward otherwise. Interestingly the Picasso has a recommened max towing weight of 1300kg, the vitara 450kg. I’d rather tow with the vitara anytime.
