I will be switching to a centre main sheet with immediate effect! You guys were quite right – poor Kathy had much too much to worry about at her end of the boat to hold the mainsheet for me during the Bloody Mary.
It was a good event, by the way – force 2-3 wind and a nice sunny day. We were quite pleased to come 78th out of 260 given our novice spinnaker handling skills.
