Until now, we have limited places at this event to around 20 boats. However, following the government updates around the lifting of lockdown, we are increasingly excited that this event is going to be a special one and are inviting more UKWA members to attend.

We understand there are many new members in the UKWA and that lack of experience can lead to lack of confidence when on the water with your loved ones. Our regular attendees have many years of experience and are always keen to support you both in terms of boat setup and safe and efficient sailing on the water. This is the perfect opportunity to gain independence with sailing, but with support from others.
Here is a small taster of what we are planning:
Try a Hartley – Hartley Boats are loaning us a brand new cruising Wayfarer for the week for our attendees to use.
Family day sailing sessions – cruising to Whitwell Watersports Centre, picnic spots and boat rafting.
Quiz night.
The Bearded Busker – the fantastic Alton Wahlberg (musician) on Thursday night
Workshop sessions – sailing setting (Matt Sharman) and boat maintenance.
An introduction to boat camping
A range of children’s activities such as sailing treasure hunts and Art classes.
