A windy weekend reduced the amount of club racing but at Waldringfield Roger Challis and Keith Vincent took the honours and extended their lead in the second spring series . Mike and Rani Pert chased them home and also lie second in the series .
Geof Gibbons and Carrie Wilkes continued to win at Parkstone followed this time by Steve Haley and Sarah Wallis
At Shoreham it was the first race for Steve Piper and daughter Katie in their brand new Mark IV . They showed both impressive bursts of speed and a complete inability to avoid the leeward mark ( twice ! ) finishing third out of the five Mark IVs now on the water .Bill and Lisa Whitney continued their winning run with first in both the class and medium handicap races..
At Haversham Tim Garret and Kayleigh secured a second in the Handicap race .
