DASH, SPLASH & BACK!
“Yet another entertaining weekend thanks to John Norman, a rogue thunder cloud and some errant wake from an unseen vessel.
Very calm trip to Newtown, but this cloud was building on the way back but I hadn’t see the flash of lightning. Then an almighty thunder clap – shook me witless for a moment or two! That was it – no more storm!
Then on the slipway back at Calshot, while I was off fetching the launch trolley the wake from nowhere threw the boat against Adrian, knocking him off his feet into the water. Quick thinking from the others on the slipway prevented any injury or damage to the boat.
Thanks to everyone. Next trip around the island?
DASH, SPLASH & BACK…. dash from all corners of the country, quick sail then back home.”

… and here’s another participant’s feedback:-
“A most enjoyable weekend organised by John and Matt. Unusually the weather was kind with plenty of sun, almost enough wind and no rain!”
